Believe, Care, Strive, Achieve

Our Monthly Values

At Alne Primary School, we have adopted a values based approach to the curriculum. We aim to promote and teach a set of values to our pupils that will ensure they develop the skills to be good citizens in the future.

Each month we focus on a different value, which is introduced in our whole school assembly and then taught and reinforced throughout the month.

The table below shows our 2 year cycle of monthly values.

Month Year A Year B
September Friendship Love
October Empathy Fairness
November Honesty Confidence
December Independence Wisdom
January Enthusiasm Optimism
February Respect Courage
March Generosity Understanding
April Kindness Appreciation
May Perseverance Peace
June Humour Determination
July Reflection Reflection
