Year 6 Football Team

The Year 6 football team have been competing in the Easingwold cluster football tournament.

They have played every Thursday for the last month, and have really enjoyed representing their school, improving their skills and working brilliantly as a team.

Harry finds himself a goalscoring opportunity

They have played some really exciting matches over the last three weeks. Although we won several games, the highlight for many of the players was the hard-fought draw against Huby, in which they had to work together as a team to defend against some really tough competition. Another moment that stood out was Joel’s last-minute goal that won the game against Stillington.

What was most impressive about the team was that, no matter how difficult the matches were, and no matter the scoreline, they stuck together, they encouraged each other and their amazing positive attitude showed through at all times.

Well done team!
