Princess Anne visits Alne

We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to see Princess Anne pass through Alne this afternoon on her way to a Royal event.  For the occasion we made flags and bunting and lined along the street.  We saw the helicopter coming into land and waited for the cars to drive Princess Anne through Main Street.  It was very exciting as the cars drove towards us and we all enjoyed waving to Princess Anne as she passed by us.  Although it was a quick sighting, it was lovely to see Princess Anne waving to us.
