New Football Season and Kits

The Year 6 football team have been in action this evening, wearing their brand new kits, supplied by the Premier League Primary Stars program. The children chose a sky blue, and have been provided with a full 11-a-side team set of kits to be proud of when representing their school.

In the first round of the Easingwold Cluster Football Tournament, held at Outwood Academy, the team won all three of their games and showed fantastic passing and communication. Their brilliant teamwork was particularly important in the final game against Huby, which was a tight 1-1 draw right until the final stages of the game, when we scored a last-minute winner.

The scores were as follows:

Alne 7 – 0 Linton

Scorers: Isaac 2, Joe 4, Benjamin 1

Alne 7 – 0 Sheriff Hutton

Scorers: Peter 1, Isaac 1, Joe 3, Own Goals 2

Alne 2 – 1 Huby

Scorers: Peter, Joe
